The exfoliant gel with a natural fruit acid mix includes fruit and botanical extracts. Gently exfoliates and removes dead skin particles. Refines and optimizes the complexion. Also ideal for oily or acne-prone skin. For a fresh, elastic, and firm look. Avoid contact with eyes and lips.

How strong is Fruit Acid Exfoliant?
ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND’s Fruit Acid Exfoliant has a concentration of significantly under 10%, making it ideal for those who are new to the product. Thanks to the mild dosage of fruit acids, the product can be used one to two times a week. This exfoliant is also suitable for people with sensitive skin.
Is the acid content the only criterion?
Alongside the fruit acid content, the pH value is also important. Only low (acidic) pH values can promise good results. High (alkaline) pH values cancel out the exfoliating effect. ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND’s Fruit Acid Exfoliant has a pH value of 3.5 to 4.5.
Which fruit acids does ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND’s exfoliant contain?
ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND’s Fruit Acid Exfoliant contains a mixture of five botanical extracts, which together represent five natural fruit acids (AHAs).
Lactic acid, a moisturizer and anti-aging substance, is the main ingredient. It is extracted from blueberries. The product also contains malic acid and tartaric acid from maple, which have a tonifying effect, meaning they help plump the skin and increase its elasticity.
In addition, it contains glycolic acid from sugar cane, which is an outstanding
exfoliating substance, since it has an instant skin-softening effect and
promotes cell regeneration. Citric acid from oranges and lemons is also used
in the exfoliant. It has a slight bleaching effect.
What can exfoliants do?
Depending on the type, exfoliants can smooth the skin when used regularly.
Wrinkles become less visible. Brown spots and unevenness can be reduced,
giving the skin a younger, fresher look. They may support collagen production,
which makes the skin firmer.
