In 2015, Oshituthi shomangongo, the marula fruit festival, was added to UNESCO's Lists of Intangible Cultural Heritage. For centuries, the Ovambo people have maintained their tradition around the marula fruit. With this project, ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND supports the many women who harvest marula fruit in the traditional manner.
