Full of moisture and extra freshness: The Energy Complex made of botanical taurine and active ingredients from organic juniper extract, gin, and organic caffeine turns caring for skin stressed by shaving into a soothing experience of freshness. Bergamot, orange, cardamom and juniper shape the top note of the fragrance and are complemented by the aromas of lavender, galbanum, jasmine and pepper. Cedar, patchouli and lignum vitae complete the composition forming the base note.

Organic juniper extract

Organic juniper berry extract is rich in essential oils. It has an anti-inflammatory and soothing effect.

Botanical Taurine

Plant taurine obtained from red Jania algae has an energizing and antioxidant effect. Protects against premature aging.

The products in the MEN series contain an innovative Energy complex made from botanical taurine, organic juniper extract, gin, and organic caffeine. The complex refreshes skin and banishes all signs of fatigue.

What effect does taurine have in the MEN series products?

Taurine revitalizes skin cells and has protective, rehydrating properties.

Why is there gin in the products?

Our research and development team is always on the lookout for new, innovative ingredients. To keep our carbon footprint low when it comes to raw materials transport, we also search for regional ingredients. And that’s how juniper came to our attention. It is used to flavor gin. Gin has been a popular drink for a while now, particularly among men. That is why this special ingredient – which just happens to be regional – simply had to be part of our MEN care series. We source the gin, which is enriched with organic juniper extract produced especially for us, from the Heckengäu distillery in the Black Forest. In combination with the organic juniper extract, the gin in our MEN products has an anti-oxidative effect on skin.

The MEN products’ packaging consists of PCR. What does that mean?

PCR is an abbreviation that stands for post-consumer recyclate. A high proportion of the packaging material consists of plastic that is produced from household waste. We are using it for the first time – in the MEN care series.
